What you need to know

Balustrades and Balconies are cut to your required sizes and shape and finished with a smooth shiny flat and arriss or pencil polished edge. These items require toughening (tempering) and normally take 7 to 10 working days to be completed. We do however also stock laminated safety glass which also complies with building safety regulations.

Where can i use a glass balustrade?

Glass balustrades are safe, secure, hard wearing and elegant, while allowing light into your building they in turn add to the beauty of your design and location. They create a more open, stylish space when using them on stairs, walking and waiting areas as well as create safe and secure balconies.

If your decking is less than 300mm off the ground and does not cover more than 50% of your garden space, you will probably not need planning permission. However, it is always important to check if you are unsure and this can be done following the below link – http://www.planningportal.gov.uk/.

f you find out that you need planning permission for your decking you will also need to at that stage, ensure you satisfy Building Regulations requirements.
